I dipped this bowl in buttermilk (it was supposed to be milk but I believe in fruitful mistakes) before putting it in the kiln. Hence the sweet smoke patterns. Because of the low firing temperature, this bowl should be kept in a house and not subject for longer periods to negative temperatures.I would not recommand eating from it (absolutely no soup, microwave or dishwasher). No problem for keepsakes !
